The ground was a bit wet this morning but no apparent puddles, while I was making a left turn at a stop at marginally slow speeds about 10-15mph, my rear came loose and I spun a 360. Is there something wrong with my differential? I'm a bit worried. Thanks.

 

were you accelerating? how cold was it cuz there could have been ice? other than that i dont think your rear end would cause this to happen

OP, how would your diff cause you to do a 360?

 

it was wet, and seeing as it is winter, it was probally cold too. I am agreeing with everyone else, you just spun out.

I was accelerating very slow though. I'm not sure why it just spun out but my guess is that there was a lot of oil slicks on the road since there is construction of housing in the area and big trucks may have leaked plenty of oil on that pavement out there. It's not that cold here this morning it's back up in the high 50's.

 

It's probably moisture + maybe some oil + cold tires. I don't think it's your car's problem ... just drive more carefully next time.

RWD cars are generally a little more tricky to drive in not-so-good conditions.
