^^^ but won't that hobby de-value as well ?

Better to be addicted to buying cars and modding them than crack or prostitutes.

dont forget hookers n blow!
i will agree that mods dont really do much for resale value but thats never a reason to mod a car in the first place. Moding is for your pleasure/desires.
If u want it then i say do it.

p.s. maby there is a typo but he said 39 for the cr which is comparative to a z06/cayman-s/elise?
maby you know some stuff but i havent seen any of those new 08 for less than 60 at a dealer. well i have seen an elise (non s) for 57

Mods devalue quicker than the car it goes on. Forget that money pit. Keep it stock and cruise.

Use the extra cash and get into another hobby.
It depends on what mods you buy. Some parts actually hold their value and go up in value.

Take a look at the Mugen mf10's and m7's. Some steering wheels are like this also, as well as alot of old school JDM parts, aero pieces and rims. You never know what something will be worth 10 years down the line, its a gamble with this hobby.

Then you need to buy the hardware kit and rear window... might as well build a cobra replica.
