We also dont really have an answer for you if the situation was actually how you initially observed. All we can say is that as the S2000 becomes more affordable a younger crowd will unfortunatly gain possession and with young age comes immaturity. You also cant fully blame them if their parenting was horrible and the fact that their most important brain structure is not yet fully developed.

Lots of hate on S2k'ers on this forum lately.
Yes and no.

There is the younger crowd of s2ki, of which the majority is obsessed with the 'stance' trend that has taken a choke-hold on the import tuning scene.

Then there is the older crowd of s2ki, of which the majority have a greater appreciation for the experience of driving/owning an S2000 instead of how it looks parked.

These two mentalities conflict, and unless I am naive regarding other types of 'hate' on here, this is the only true source of regular disagreements on the forums.

Correct me if I am wrong.
you are correct sr 100% also "The S2000 is meant to be driven, not parked. Buy wheels that fit."

How is he trolling, when he is agreeing with what ppl are saying? lol

Any way, yeah, you never know what the situation was, he could have known them. As long as he wasn't endangering others, let him rev all he wants, he will just make himself look like fool in the eyes of other, i.e OP lol. I'm 32, I've had my S for 7 years, I try to be as mature as I can but I do let my 18 yr old self get the best at me at times too, we all do.

In my area we are starting to get quite a few young S2K owners, about 5 or 6 under 20, one just turned 16, the best we can do is educate them and hope they appreciate the car for what it's meant to be.

back in '05 I bought mine for 26K, AP1 with 6k miles. even at that time it was probably hard to find one for under 20K, now you can find them for well under 15K, even some with salvaged titles for under 10K. your typical 18 yr old will not have 20-25K but perhaps they will have 10K saved up.

Shit, I didn't even give him my 5 minutes of time, I skimmed the hell out of that post

I got my 05 s2000 when I was 19 for 17k (29k miles on it). Pretty affordable indeed....

Agree with Fife. Hopefully it's just a phase that will soon die.
