I'm interested also as I have tried to make mine shorter but cutting it with a wheel but the larger shaft doesn't allow me to go any lower. Keep us posted. If the price is right I am definitely interested.

And as Richard said (and others have already done), look at his RX8 shifter as a good idea on price too. This shifter sold out over and over with each run of production:
