this is a clueless statement. I have been an M enthusiast for years (driven mcoupes, e36m3 and M5) but am always looking to see what is better or comparable... don't generalize.. as someone else said, S2k owners are just ast "self-promoting" as M3 owners.. for good or bad, you take pride in what you own, or you wouldn't have bought it.
