to be fair we don't know whether all this stuff is still original or was refreshed.

i agree that chance is very very low for the steereing rack - but the rest could be newer.
Yeah, I agree as a most likely thing. But when he said "completely stock" I took it as those things had not been messed with. I know my old boss bought a 97 two years ago? and have the original suspension on it. Changed it to some new Blisteins and said it was a HUGE difference.

There are a lot of variables in comparisons like this, I mean you cannot really say "I was able to keep up with an NSX" just like that. There are a lot of other things that come into play. I was able to keep up with some seriously fast cars in my stock Passat 1.8T on all seasons.

Unless you drove the S2000 back to back on the clock with the NSX I don't think you can just blanket statement like that.

You can say you were unimpressed, but thats about it. But no harm no foul. I think it really, really boils down to the driver, bench racing isn't very accurate, nor helpful.

all driver.

nsx is not overrated. try comparing other 1991 n/a sports cars to the 1991 nsx as far as innovation and design. it was an advanced design for its time.

I made those blanket statements because i wasnt really sure of how to put into words i wanted to say. Overall i guess i just expected a little more although i completely aware of the fact thats its 20 years old. He paid close to 30k for it and i just cant justify why that would be worth it.

that depends on many things, such as condition, mileage, and record keeping. if the mileage was low enough, and maintenance was recorded/saved, I could see someone spending $30k...

if I had the means, and the desire to own a second car, I wouldn't mind having one of those in the garage for a sunny sunday afternoon. there's a bit of nostalgic desire for one of those I've had since my youth (and particularly, pulp fiction).

Love to hear the elaboration on this statement.

'91 NSX vs any other '91 vehicle.

Ferrari, Porsche, etc. The NSX tore up the track for years in complete stock form. Now is a '91 NSX going to beat a '11 GT2 RS? Of course not.
