Do you usually fill up in the day or during the evening?

Liquids (including gas) are more dense in colder temperatures, such as the evening low. It takes up less volume, allowing you to fill up more.

Now wether or not it is negligible, I have no clue.
I agree with this, if it was mid day and hot the gas pump could have slightly mis-calcualted the gal. (fill up at night lol)

Sorry, "buddy".. but if you think that I can't average 270-280 per tank of gas because I have an AP1; you really dont know what you're talking about.

I normally only burn up 10 gallons before I fill up. My car has been down to no bars twice and both times I was on my way to get gas

Yeah that seems very easy to obtain. I drive my car pretty hard and still get about 240/tank but like I just said I normally only use 10 gallons so I get about 24mpg

I drove on a 400mile trip once and pulled 30mpg at 80mph

i don't see why it's so hard to comprehend that an ap1 can get good mileage. the lowest i've EVER gone was 2 bars and i was freaking and i got right around 275 that tank. when my mileage gets to 220 a tank beating on it sometimes but mostly driving nice i can tell i need an oil change or atleast reminds me to check the last one i got

Well, the S2000 tank holds 13.6 gal
2008 Honda S2000, according to Canadian site, says 50 litres of gas.

That's 13.2086026 US gallons.

According to US specs, City/Hwy/combied is 18/25/21 mpg

http://automobiles.honda.com/s2000/specifi....aspx?group=epa

So 1 tank of gas for all city driving is 237.6 miles = 382.380134 km

Not great numbers for a fuel efficient DD, considering gas is premium - but hey, gotta pay to play, right?

Isn't this stuff already discussed to hell on other threads?

13.2086026 US Gallons = 10.9984624 UK gallons

Perhaps where some confusion comes from?
