It is great to have different opinion b/c each opinion, whether it gets bashed or not, is from different cases, but as we see it, same problem. For example, the ignition key hole.
To some members, "use powder to tweek it", to others, "use wd-40", then uses their justification on experience and personal knowledge from their own research (mostly internet), or professionals to defend why their opinion is the best. In the end, it probably works out the same because a simple tap was the key to make it work instead of the chemicals. Who knows!
My point it that, an issue can not be fix with one solution.
See sharing ideas and formulating different methods is one things I love that, but when it comes to bashing and useless input or downright disrespectful comments I don't understand why. Look I am 21, I feel I am mature and I hope I reflect that on the forums, I do have my childish moments and I try to control it. Some people are just blatantly lost and sometimes the comments just make zero sense to the OP's actual post.

I don't post much anymore. The general forums are "getting younger." Like people who confuse adjectives with rappers....

This forum is a lot cleaner than most...in fact i find that most of the people here are too nice (maybe fake) which is why i frequent a competing site.

with the decline of price on these vehicles, there is a lot of young assholes like myself who purchase these cheap and affordable honda products. the result is what you are stating OP

No, I am not referring to xviper, he's a fireman in Calgary. Apparently there was an actual Honda Engineer that used to post on this board, but has since stopped b/c he had to put up w/ some pretty silly stuff (I guess similar to xviper, except xviper seemed to have a shorter fuse).
There used to be a Honda engineer that posted here- think his screen name was Woodwork or something like that. He had really, really helpful technical information.

However I don't know if he still posts here, or if he doesn't, why he left.

A lot of good members here have just moved on - The S2000 is 10 years old now and not the outperformer it used to be. Some previous members have BMWs now, Nissans, Vettes, etc.

I agree on that, and same goes around. There are a couple of guys I know who went from Viper to S2000. We as humans like to change our cars once in a while to keep things interesting. It is human nature. Furthermore, people have a chance of interest once purchased and experienced it. Some owners love the loud noise from a Viper or z06, while others like it silent with suspension performance. You have to test it to really know.
