Have you ever ventured to street encounters It's not so bad here... Yes a lot of kids fall into the whole jdm thing. I honestly couldnt give a rats ass about being jdm or whatever. I see what i like and go after that. There is still a lot of great members on this site.

This could very well be one of the greatest community forums out there.

I used to think IS.net was a great forum... This takes the cake and stays very active.

I think I understand what you're saying. I used to read and reply a lot of posts under General Interest especially in S2000 Talk and Car Talk and have stop even looking through them now. The only reason I'm here because you originally posted this in Off Topic and it was moved.

I personally think way too many on this forum uses their opinions as facts and many others who doesn't know any better couldn't tell the different.

I still think we are one of the best forum around, but most of the time I decided to stay out of Car Talk and S2000 Talk. Why waste your time bro?

How is it not public? You don't pay to be here, yet you're free to post...

Sure, there are plenty of people here who have nothing better to do but flame everyone, but when you look past those few folks, this site is probably the best and most active forum you can venture into. Hopefully, it remains that way for a long time to come.

I've read some old posts and I don't see how it's different now than before. Didn't that Honda Engineer (forgot his name) stop posting on here b/c of the stuff you mentioned about?

C'est la vie!

I assume you're referring to xviper. He stopped posting on here because he felt very disrespected in a thread with a few socal members. Some sided with him, some didn't and I suppose he felt like he wasn't needed. Either way, you can't let one incident be your entire outlook on a website. S2KI is very organized, with administrators that will actually help you...it's a crazy thing

And how will this thread solve anything? Seems to me like another thread with potential pointless flaming coming along. Seriously, quality of this forum may have gotten worse but looks to me you have no idea how retarded other car forums can be.

The point is, as the cars become more and more affordable, it can't be prevented that the car will be affordable to many young people who are less mature. It's just impossible to be a pure enthusiasts' forum anymore. Even quality forum like lotustalk can sometimes get messy.

I get what everyone is saying. I just have to accept the fact there are e-thugs and this forum isnt as bad as most . I created this post to find out if I was the only one to be this annoyed . Guess not .
