S2Ks do 15's in the 1/4??
I always thought that it was a well documented fact that our cars finish the 1/4 mile in 13.9 sec. However, all that I keep hearing about, from the ex
, is that the fastest times that her and her new boyfreind (who I raced and won) have witnessed were in the 15's. Is it really that rare to see our cars do well at the track? Or do NJ stook drivers suck at the track? It really makes me want to give a go at it and show her that my stook can do low atleast low 14's !

I dont think the majority of s2k owners are experienced drag racers which would explain his. With a bit of track time, any s2k owner should be able to do atleast high 14`s. You also need to take track conditions and weather into consideration.

I think most people are afraid to do what it takes to get those good numbers, i have to drop it at over 8000 rpm to run 14.20, granted i run a track where most people don't run good numbers, but if you drop it hard you should easily get low 14's and if you're at low elevation maybe even a high 13 sec pass.
The only time I took my s2k to the track I ran a 14.1 ....my first run was a 14.7.... it took some getting use to launching on a slick track, but feathering the clutch from a 5500 rpm launch did the trick, whenever I bogged it launching I ran high 14's. my 14.1 was with a pathetic 2.1 60ft as well, high 13's shouldn't be very tough for someone experienced with the car.
