Where I get my haircut there is a SS S2K there all the time and that SOB hasn't washed that thing in like 8 months. It looks like s@#t. I am tempted to bring my stuff with me and wash the damn thing for them.
They are giving the rest of us a bad name!

i swear that a clean S2k is an endangered species in metro-Detroit. i seem to be the only one on the road that always has a clean one. it's quite depressing. even worse is when a super dirty S is cruising with the top down. just looks ugly. i do agree with mikey though: in the winter you're allowed some things.
but if it's the summer.... no excuses.
mine gets washed every 3 or 4 days on average. waxed every 3 weeks on average

Oh duh! I totally didn't get the link between SS and silverstone because I hadn't seen it before. I think it should't be used because it has too many meanings from Nazis and Super Sport versions of cars.
As with all cars when you say SS s2000 I assume since it is a car that it means a super sport edition...

I try to keep my car as clean as possible. Once I noticed my rims were dirty when I was pumping gas so I pulled off my undershirt and began wiping away the dirt.
First some older gentleman drove by and asked, "Do you detail cars?" I replied, "No, sir, I'm just cleaning my rims." He said, "Wow, well if you did detail 'em, you do a hell of a job. Nice car."
Then an older gentlewoman drove by and asked, "What kind of car is that?" I said nonchalantly, "An S2000." She said, "Oh, then why does it have Honda badges?" I said, "It's a Honda S2000." She said, "Well, even BMW can't make better looking cars than that."
