Very sad.

The following quote from the news article is not all that surprising:

"Weather was a contributing factor in the crash that happened on pavement slick from rain, according to the police officer. People at the scene reported the driver 'over applied' the throttle on the Honda to pass a slow-moving car."

Very sad indeed.

I hate to say this but 18 years old and driving an S2000!?! Some parents are just too stupid to let their kids do whatever they want. At that age they need to be driving a used Volvo or something else that is safe....

These cars can get away from you in the blink of an eye if you're not careful.I've almost swapped ends while giving the car very little power in dry conditions.

I'm getting sick and tired of reading about people who can't drive this car, and don't know how to drive responsibly in bad conditions. When somebody dies as a result of a foolish driver's stupidity, I'm sad but enraged!
