I really don't think age matters. I've seen many lousy drivers of all ages.

One again, this is another proof that the S2k is a ill handling and deadly vehicle. Don't tell me it's the driver's fault, everyone who had an accident said the same thing: I am a good driver, that will never happen to me. Guess what, its not the driver. It's the car! honda should have never sold such a car with such a unstable suspension. the ratio of accident per car sold is the highest among all cars sold in the US, even higher than the Ford Explorer! In fact there are several lawsuit pending against Honda from accident victims. I hope everyone realize this and get rid of your S2k before you are the next victim. I am glad that I sold mine before I got into one of these awful accident.

Oh please....

The fact that there are lawsuits is enough to convince me that Honda is innocent.

You know how many 911 Porsches I've seen sailing ass backwards over a canyon on Mulholland or Angeles Crest?? You think anyone sued Porsche and won?? It's all about a powerful car, poor road conditions and grossly inexperienced drivers. I did stupid shit when I was that age too...think you're invincible. We've all been there. Now I do stupid shit and I KNOW it's stupid.

Like they do with the bimmers, there should be the option to take a high-performance driving course when you buy this car. That's the only thing most people need. Oh, and the common sense not to drive like an ass.

I feel terrible for the friends and family of that young girl. That dude will live with it the rest of his life...but he doesn't get any sympathy from me.

Terrible tragedy. But what were 2 high school students doing driving at 10:48 AM on a Wednesday? Speculating here, but seniors playing hooky in a fast car with a young love... imagine the adrenaline.

"It's the car"......the car only does what the driver commands it to do when applying power through his/her own actions,so I'm not sure I agree with you S2knomore.

Well, if you are positive that you would have gotten into an accident in the S2000, I'm glad you sold yours too. I hate to see anyone get killed in an accident.

I fully agree....especially because if you're driving the oh so dangerous S2000 at the speed limit you can avoid pretty much ANY accident due it's powerful brakes, compact size, and easy and fast swerving abilities.

Unfort the same thing happened to me this last Tuesday in London; hit water on a bend - lost the back end and crossed four lanes of traffic before smashing my lovely car on the armco. Once it goes - it goes I found; it wouldn't have happened in my big car but I I wouldn't change it for the world. The reason i lost it was I was going too fast in bad conditions (80 mph when i should have been doing 60 ?) and I didn't see the water in the road. My car will now be off the road for 2 months and will cost me
