Sale price guidance
I’m going to be listing my car for sale. I was thinking starting at $32K OBO. Is this fair or am I asking for too much? I would like to sell the car but it’s not a MUST sell if I don’t get a reasonable offer. Here are some details:
2008 GPW
2nd owner
just under 15K miles
all original matching VINS
stock
OEM front lip, side strake, and trunk spoiler
mint condition overall (interior and exterior)
Thanks!

That price looks fair to me. A big part of price comes down to location and willingness to wait for the right buyer.
For reference, I bought my car (stock 08 Berlina Black w/34,000 miles) for $30K two years ago in the NJ/NY area and they were originally asking $35K. Three months prior I was looking at another 08 with 9K miles in PA where their asking price was $30K.

Looks close to fair to me too. Got my 07 LBP with 23,000mi a few months ago for $26k (they asked $30k).
Are used prices in Hawaii inflated or deflated due to the limited market?

Thank you all for your input. Currently have it posted locally for $32K obo. Market in Hawaii for this car is not as active as the mainland, but we’ll see how it goes. Got a few inquiry but nothing solid yet.

Might be a smidge high, but you're not far off. You may want to consider BaT down the line if it doesn't sell 'locally' as the buyers there are seemingly more comfortable shipping vehicles. But judging by the sold listings, I don't think you'd see $30k+ on that site - especially after factoring shipping costs..
Good luck with the sale!

only issue I could see is being so close to the salty air of beautiful Hawaii. if the underside is completely rust free (with the engine bay vtec solenoid being a good barometer as well), then likely a fair price for the local market. Any one in the CONUS, will have to factor in shipping...and that is going to hurt your asking price.
good luck with the sale.
