Default Salvaged s2k

Should I stay away from this s2k?

If someone could do a VIN lookup I'd appreciate it "JHMAP11442T009162"

really depends on the way the car was deemed "Salvage".. There are plenty of S2000's that are totalled due to seats stolen and tops slashed. If your buying for a good price it maybe worth it.

That's why I'm trying to get a VIN lookup done. It might be a great deal. Here's the engine bay, looks alright.

I'll definitely do that if I do a test drive. The VIN in op is from the window.

That license plate is less than a year old - how long has he had the car?

every body panel will have(from the factory) a white VIN sticker on it about 3/4 inch by 3 inch's, they should all match the VIN in the door jamb as well as the windsheild.

I haven't asked, but I've done a free VIN lookup.

Edit: Sent him an e-mail asking a few questions. Will update when he replies.

That looks like an 02-03 AP1 - if it was totaled in 2003, that means something like $25k in damage... Or a flood vehicle.
