Default Sat in my first S2000 today.

First thing I noticed is that the seat is incredibly comfortable and the steering wheel feels amazing. One thing that shocked me is how small the gauge cluster is... In pictures it looks like a decent size but it's actually incredibly small, aha. Another thing is the entire car vibrated as I started it and my friend who was with me said she smelled gasoline. Do S2000's always vibrate on first start up? Because during idle it was fine.

It's one of the first used S2000's I've seen since last year for sale in my town, so I was pretty excited, too bad he wants 21,900 for a 2005 NFR with 130,000 KMS(80,000 miles), which is way too much.

I was also surprised how small the gauge cluster was when I first sat in an s2k. And how upright the windshield was.
Mine vibrates for a short moment when I first start it but the idle drops to around 1k and is smooth.

Actually, the window surprised me, too! When I took the roof off and got outside I wasn't expecting it to be like that, it looks so much more swooped in pictures.

same about the windshield for me. the first thought in my mind was, "this thing is a brick!" referring to how aerodynamic the windshield was.

Mine vibrates when starting, and I do smell a hint of gasoline every once in awhile. Isn't out of the norm with my experience.

I don't find height is that much an issue with this car, but width/girth there should be, aha. I'm 170 pounds and 5'6" and I find I just barely fit in the seat, width wise. I can't imagine bigger dudes fitting in there. Although the S2000 is a lot more spacious than the newer Miata's, that's for sure...

There's an Rio AP1 for sale in Toronto(3 and a half hours from Sudbury) and his has the same mileage and he only wants 13,500.

One other thing, when I opened the cup holder thing I noticed that they aren't even cup holders? It's like two squares.

Ah yes, I still remember that day...it was a yellow ap1 sitting at a used car dealership. I was driving and happened to notice it and pull into that car dealship faster than you'd run away from a wild herd of wilderbeast running toward you. I remember sitting in it and started day dreaming of tearing through mountian roads and turns! Ever since then I wanted an s2k, now I have my 2nd one already.

The car vibrates due to tires having a flat spot after sitting for a while. As they warm up, vibration quickly disappear.

This is exactly what happened. I was bringing resumes to local car dealerships and went to get Dairy Queen with the ex girlfriend(she was also bringing resumes to the mall later on) and I looked across the road and seen it. This is also during rush hour and for some reason there was absolutely no cars when I pulled out of D.Q and crossed the road to the used car dealership, it's like there was something that wants me to buy this car.

Long story short, my sunday was melted by the time I got back in the car...

EDIT: I also noticed the stereo flap or whatever you want to call it is HUUUUUUUGGGGEEEEE.
