I'm celebrating my 10th anniversary of owning s2ks now (on my second one), and I'll never forget the feeling I had when I first stepped into one. Then in 06, I got to experience the thrill again, only this time it felt even more exciting. Those days are gone now, but with a hardtop, lip spoiler, and a trunk spoiler on the way next week, I'm starting to feel that excitement again.

Anyone else surprised by how high the door was once you sat down? I'm 6' and my arm can barely rest on the window frame while driving.

I don't find height is that much an issue with this car, but width/girth there should be, aha. I'm 170 pounds and 5'6" and I find I just barely fit in the seat, width wise. I can't imagine bigger dudes fitting in there. Although the S2000 is a lot more spacious than the newer Miata's, that's for sure...

There's an Rio AP1 for sale in Toronto(3 and a half hours from Sudbury) and his has the same mileage and he only wants 13,500.

One other thing, when I opened the cup holder thing I noticed that they aren't even cup holders? It's like two squares.
Sounds like an AP2. If so, then there is a hidden divider between the 'two squares' in the cup holder area that pops out when you press it. It's spring activated and will help keep the drink from moving. Took me a few days to find it myself. It's in the middle, on the passenger side of the holders.

The door height is what I noticed first. Very high compared to tr3 or mg but more comfortable and secure. Like sitting in a cockpit.

I'm 6'1". Same problem. Feels awkward.
