Does having a super charger fitted invalidate your warranty
/ extended warranty ?

Some people reported "yes" and others reported "no". Mine told me that the "engine" warranty is voided as soon as the Supercharger is installed.

Comptech has made a statement that they would repair any damages that had been caused by the S/C. Since they have said that nobody has filed a claim against, we really won't know what would happen.

When all the fixes have been made to the current S/C version, I will order one.

You might want to ask your local dealerships for the answer to your question about warranty coverage.

 

Can you tell me what the problems are with the current S/C ?
I thought these had been fixed from reading the other posts

They are referring to a problem with a MAP sensor check valve. Resolved to my satisfaction now.

 

I know 2 dealers in MD that said if they install the supercharger, then my warranty will not be voided. Sounds pretty cool but dont have the cash. Anyone want to help me out????

 

John Eagle Honda here will install the SC, and last I heard, not void warranty. They used to sell JRSC Si's with full factory warranty.
