I am in the process of getting an 01 and I was wondering if getting an extended warranty is a wise precaution. Actually I have a limited budget, but is still wise to get one?

What about Honda "certified cars" and their warranty? Does it mean much?

IMO the hondacare warranty isn't very good. they can pretty much deny any warranty claim for any reason they want (just ask johnny--S2k).

but, get the certified car if you can. the certified cars come with a form of extended warranty that does not fall under the same rules as the hondacare warranty. (no contract)
