SCC Road Test: Vortech S2000
I have seen people claim anything from 5.2 to 6.0 second 0-60 times and 13.8 to 14.5 second 1/4 mile times. But there are tons of variables like:
What was the outside temp during the run? The colder the temp the more HP your car will make
What was the elevation of the run? All cars run faster at sea level then at 2000 Ft above sea level
The most important one---Who was driving? The difference between a pro and a really good driver can be as much as 2 seconds 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.
Take your car out to the 1/4 mile and take a few passes...unless you are a pro driver you will be very disappointed with your 1/4 mile run times. Be happy if you are under 15 seconds as you should pat yourself on the back

Same issue- Stock-10-60@6.1 and10-100@15.1!!! Little bit of a difference. They also had a spoon S2k. Mods are Spoon valve springs, head gasket, ail filter and ECU. The car is basically stripped. 10-60 @5.2 and 10-100 @ 13.1.
That's interesting with the tires. If I were to add a SC and wanted just the extra power how much are we talking about with labor? I really don't want to mess with anything that I don't have to including exhaust. What is necessary to add with SC?
What mileage should the car have on it before adding SC?
