Like I said earlier... you have to have a professional install these doors or they will become a nightmare! Don't let Joe Blow down the street at a chop shop touch your car...if you want it done right, have someone do it that has done these MODs before on any car or you will be looking for trouble. As for the seals, if done properly, not a problem..once the doors are lined up perfectly, they will close with the top up or down with the seal secured and no leakage!

It's your car, do what you like, you must have liked the lambo door idea to conisder it. Why let others sway your opinion??? They aren't the ones driving your car or opening your door.

I see your point on the practicality of it. I think its unique and will look alright on a clean S2000.

They look good on the Lambo and the SLR, that's about it IMO.

Let's have a look at what we've got:

You haven't seen flame war yet!
Well, not a full blown one yet, but then comes this:

Screw what they think!!
This sounds pretty vitrious to me. Sorta like nobody's opinions counts except for his.

Then he goes on to say:
Don't let others tell you what will or will not make your image good or bad!
Might I remind everyone what the title is ........................
Scissor Doors, Good or bad - Input?
Now, this really sounds to me like the OP ASKED for opinions, BOTH good and bad.
Then he further re-iterates the following:
Input appreciated!
Geez! He even asks TWICE! He actually INVITED everyone to post and TELL HIM WHAT WILL OR WILL NOT make his image good or bad.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I did NOT see the title say anything like:
Scissor doors - GOOD opinions ONLY!
Nor did I see in his first post:
I don't want any input that is negative. I demand to only get input that will massage my ego and taste so that I can be at peace with my delicate sense of self worth and not kick myself in the ass once I fork out all that money. NEGATIVE INPUTS ARE NOT WELCOME! Unless you can give me an attaboy, keep your hole shut and move along.

So, is it me, or does "someone" need reading lessons?

Looking at the pictures that are posted and in the link provided, neither of those cars look like it would be any easier to ingress or egress the car. As you may recall, this was one of the criteria the OP stated for having these things.
