You'll find that s2k members veer away from the ricer community. I'm glad for it. When I bought my '06, that's what I wanted...to be separated from the ricer.
Even the two s2k I saw at HIN in charlotte was not riced out.
If you like the ricer look, just go to a import car show to get it out of your system.

First off, welcome to the boards.
Next my .02: I wouldn't do it, because I think it makes the car looks tacky...
The OP asked for input, and so we have done so. We're not holding a gun to his head, telling him not to do it. He just wanted an idea of what we thought. And so far, it looks like a majority of us don't like the idea of scissor doors on the S2000.
Do what you wanna do, it's your call. I mean, people have different tastes... For example, somebody thought this looked good on and Elise:
