Finally got my AEM CAI. A friend of mine hooked me up for 179.00
I did the install my self it took me about 3 hours all I had was a floor jack, two jack stands, A Leatherman "Wave" multitool, 2 zipties, and a 10mm long socket with 3/4 inch ratchet. the only hard part was cutting the fender well plastic. Industrial clippers would have made the cutting alot easier. The car sounds like a screaming banchee now and you can feel the Hp increase. The only down side was that the AEM kit was missing 2 C-clamps for the lower intake pipe, luckly I had a couple of old ones in my tool box "quick fix". Over all Im very happy with it and now that the factory air box is out of the way oil changes are a snap! Check out the Pic's
Here is about 7-10 pounds of crap "Bye-Bye Comptech"

was/were those originally RM racing front spoiler? what happened there?
That is the RM racing bar. The space between the bar and the intake looks smaller than it realy is when I tightend up the lower nut on the bottom intake pipe there is a gap of about 1 cm, I put the white foam insert to cushion any contact between the two but so far no noise or chater. As for the RM racing chin spoiler that was broken in Las Vegas about 1 year ago. Instead of throwing it away I just took the dremal tool and a sanding block to it and came up with what you see.

what's that all about??
You have to cut a 6 inch radious out of the passenger side fender so that the lower intake pipe fits in to the well. also when you read the instruction manual it says "for optimum cool air intake and performance you have to cut the plastic in the exposed filter photo, just in side the grill to the left
