Default Scratch within the first 2 weeks

I ran over a dip too quickly and scratched the bottom of my new S front lip.

It is not major and you can't see it unless you kneel on the ground....

But my car is only 2 weeks old, and I felt really bad and stupid of this carelessness....

Anyone has similar experience?

thank you for sharing, nakdboardr.

I never had a sport car before and didn't realize how low it is.

FWIW, *some* body shops will respray that area for ~$80 usd, instead of asking you to respray the whole bumper....IF you can remove the bumper yourself and bring it to them. I've done it before.

It happens all the time for the new owners. After couple of times, we know not to pull in too close when we park. Don't feel too bad. Our S2K is not that big so you can leave plenty of room when you park. Enjoy!

Yes, you are right.
I am still not quite used to the length of the new S. Especially in parallel parking, have to really pay attention to the front, to the back....

I did it first day as well. Doh! I didn't realize how much lower the S is than my Mustang was.
