Default sealant

I removed the front and rear Honda badges and every one know they leave those holes. on the front its just cosmetic i believe but on the rear the holes go all the way into the trunk. So today i went by the hardware store and was looking around i found some small vinyl plugs. The front holes are 5/16 and the rear are 1/4 incase any one is wondering. I popped them in and they dont look bad i plan to buy some touch up paint from Honda and another set of plugs paint them and replace the ones i have put in. But what im wanting to know is what kind of sealant i can put under the rear plugs to keep water from getting into my trunk.
