Depends on who is stealing them. If it's a some punk looking for some new seats to his civic, you're going to get slashed. If it's a pro or semi-pro he's not going to waste his time and just move on. Speed is the often the difference between jail and no jail with those guys.

As for the proximity alarm someone mentioned, those things are more likely to get you vandalized than prevent it. First, no one pays attention to car alarms anymore. Second, if someone parks next to you at the mall and it goes off you're just asking to be keyed.

Truancy, where did you get those bolts? I've looked at Home Depot and special hardware stores and was unable to find the right size/pitch hex bolts.

I got them from a local store here in Vegas that specializes in bolts and hoses.

Did you go to the hardware aisle and look in the bottom left hex head metric drawer? They don't have the right sized hex head. The heads I found at Home Depot were a just a bit too small to insert a nut in there.

I don't want to advertise the size on here.
PM me and I'll give you the dimensions and nomenclature.

I do, too, but I can't bring my garage with the car when I go out.

I finally installed my Seat Locks after having received them from Kodokan a couple months ago.

I have ten thumbs and it still took me only 15 minutes to install.

Unfortunately, the person making the "McGard locks" sticker makes them no longer.

All the same, I feel a bit better and safer with these in.

Thanks Kodokan4!

I made my own McGard Lock window stickers years ago when I bought my set from Kodokan4. I will do a search this weekend for the template. I used clear labels and printed them backwards so they would show properly on the side windows. I will see if I can dig up a picture of them, as my car is presently in the shop.

Update: Never did find the template, but I do have a few other external drives to search. If anyone is interested in pics of the ones I created, shoot me a PM.
