I am planning to get a Cusco 4 Point Rollbar. I am 5' 10" and I put the seat to the furthest possible from the steering wheel. If I get the rollbar, does the seat go all the way back or does it have to be closer than normal because of the space it takes behind the seat??

Also, does anyone know if it is OK to use this at the 1/4 mile track since they don't allow to run under 13.49 without a rollbar for convertibles? I heard that it has to be welded, a bolt-on wouldn't work.

 

It has to be closer then normal, I have this same prob as im 6'3

 

damn, I also have aftermarket steering wheel with momo hub and nrg quick release so it is way closer than stock

 

Ask the people at the track. Probably there are some rules published by someone like the NHRA which the track uses to determine such things. As far as I know, the Cusco bar does not meet the standards published by any North American racing organizations, but it would be be best if you checked your exact requirements yourself.
