seat problem?

Default seat problem?

i just recently installed a cusco cage with takatas and i have a lil bit of a problem. the cage makes the passenger have no room cause the seat doenst really move bake and it sits higher. would getting brides or another brand of seat help me out?

how did you install the cage? you should only lose an inch or two of rearward travel on the seats.

Brides would probably make the situation worse. A friend had a Cusco cage (roll hoops and center counsole removed) with bride Ergo II's and I could barely squeaze my legs in between the seat cushion and the cage (I am 5ft 6inch and 140lbs pretty slender) when getting in and out of the car. Had it not had a quick release on the steering wheel it would take forever to get in and out of the car.

Getting some Low mount rails for the OEM seats might help more than getting different seats.
