Default Seat rail problem

I'm curious if anyone else has this problem before I take Melissa in for warranty repair.
My drivers seat seems to latch on only one side. When I move the seat it feels like it has some play until I rock forward just a bit. Then I hear the seat rail snap into place on the left side. It does it in every position from all the way forward to all the way back.
There's also some resistance in the release mechanism. It's not that big a deal, but if it is a warranty issue, I'd like to get it fixed.
Anyone else experience this?

Wirejock-

I was having that exact problem. I am only 5"5" so I move the seat every time I get in or out of the car. (I think this was Honda's way of making me want to stay behind the wheel )

Anyway, my drivers seat was not always "locking" into place and required a bit of rocking until I hear the rail "pop" into place. Also, a few times my seat would not want to release and move back so that I could get out of the car.

I had my car in on Tuesday getting the oil/filter changed at 3,750 miles and I had the service tech's look at it.

According to the service bill, they "adjusted the seat and rail back to factory spec's". I have used the beautiful weather of the last few days to drive the car into work and back and have not had a re-currence of the issue.

All covered under warranty by the way. No questions asked and happy to fix the car for me.

Hope that helps.

wirejock - This can happen if the two rails are not aligned properly with each other. I have taken the seat out of my car a few times and it is important to have the seat locking mechanism engaged on both rails during reinstallation in order to avoid the alignment problem. It's a pretty easy fix - loosen all four of the seat mount bolts (2 front and 2 rear), make sure the locking mechanism is engaged properly in both rails, jiggle the seat arount a little bit and then tighten the mount bolts. I don't have the said latch locking problem, but my seat does have a little "play" every time I do a hard corner turn. It's very distracting. Does anyone have the similar problem?
