Default Seat replacement-Sparco Torino?

Well, I really like my S2000 but I have given up on the stock seat. I cannot even bear to drive the car more than 1 hour without leg and back pain. I know many of you are going to say buy a sedan then with a cushy ride. In my other car, an MR2 set up for SCCA solo 2 (not exactly a cushy ride), I drive all over the east coast. I have no problems driving that car for 16+ hours in one day and should be able to do the same in the S2k.

I sit close to the steering wheel and the stock seat in the S2000 provides no leg support for me in that position. I have tried raising the front of the seat with washers as others have suggested without much improvement. I have come to the conclusion that I will have to replace the drivers seat. I do not want a race shell as someothers have gotten (I am going for comfort here). I have been told that Sparco makes the brackets and mounts for thier Torino seat to fit the S2000. Anyone out there tried this? Other suggestions?

Thanks,
Doug

I'm interested in this as well. Anyone have S2000 seat brackets other than Mugen?

The Recaro website referred me to nascarplace.com . I found some black leather seats that I really liked that had an optional power package which included electric tilt, recline, and most importantly, height adjustment. It also included heat but don't need in Texas. They're rather pricey so I emailed this company three %^%$#! times in regards to bracket purchase vs seats without a single response. You might have better luck. The website is extensive and informative so it might be worth a look anyway. I've also considered going to a BMW dealer and inquiring about the Z3 seats. Just haven't made the time yet. I love the seats in the Acura TL-S but doubt they'd fit. Good luck and keep us posted. My only real complaint with the car is the lack of tilt steering or height adjustable seats.

Check out www.northstarmotorsports.com. They carry Sparco, Recaro, and Momo. If you don't see it on their site, send them and email, they will answer you. As for rails, I would have to double check, but Mugen and Sparco are of the few that make aftermarket seat rails for Hondas.
