Not at all. I have worked with the service manager before so I called him ahead of time, let him know. When I came in, he came out, I duplicated it, then showed him this thread actually, he took it back lubed it just to see if he could find a spot that would work, and it didn't work at all.

So, new rail. :-)

My '08 does that as well. I have pinpointed it to the passenger seat rail, front right. It is on some kind of pin/hinge mechanism that the older cars do not have. Maybe this is for passenger airbag disable weight sensor. I put some oil on it and it is a little quieter. I want to take it in but you may have scared me off. I really want to know the right way to fix this but I think I may just have to live with it or pour on more oil.
This sounds like it might describe a problem I had for a while. The seat wasn't touching anything yet it was still squeaking (passengers could rock around in the seat and make it happen if there were no bumps). Interesting, after I had my convertible top replaced, it seems to have stopped, so I suspect they removed the seats during the installation and when they were reinstalled, something got tightened or lubed or rubs slightly different now.

That's interesting. You are describing it exactly. I'm glad yours was fixed

Okay just an FYI. The new passenger side right side track was replaced yesterday, problem is fixed. The service manager went the extra step to file with American Honda as an official defect, and I am the only one that has officially been reported!!!

I guess its extra phone time and paper work to have something on file but I think you guys that have had it fixed should call your service dept and tell them you want the defect on file with American Honda. It is an issue and with me being the only one on file, they are going to over look them.

Anyway squeak fixed. No more embarrassments

My GF's passenger seat squeaks in her 07. I never bothered to pinpoint exactly what it was, but I'm glad the dealer will fix squeeks.

It affects MY06 - MY09. It has to do with the re design of the passenger weight sensor that is integrated into the seat rail.
