I know that now. I got hooked up with him, thank goodness. I have thought of getting them welded to. Know anything about that?

Welcome to S2ki The seat issue has been an issue for years its really honda's fault for making it a multi part # high $ item. to Honda for that

 

both of the rear seat bolts, go through the floor, you can see the bottom of the bolt from underneath the car. you could just put a longer bolt that will stick out enough through the floor to put a nut on. the thief will go to try loosen the the seat bolts to remove them but ahhhh the bolt won't come out!

 

Wow, you know what? Thats a good idea. Seriously. You probably have to coat the nut/thread with some sealant spray to prevent rust.

 

i would just spray a little undercoating spray on the threads and nuts. or you could just spray paint it.

 

Yeah I hold Honda totally responsible for the problem. If those seats didnt fit in other Hondas and acuras then there wouldnt be a problem with it. At least not on the scale that it has been, especially around south florida. After my seats were stolen, and I had gotten the car back from the shop I am noticing a few other things that arent the same as they were before the vandalizing was done. I am thinking that maybe they wanted to steal some other stuff too, but got spooked and got out of there. Now I have the seat locks and a top of the line alarm, with backup. I hope they get caught and serve time.

 

I think everyone on this site will agree with you on that.
