A GPW/tan '03 that I saw had small chunks of leather coming off of the side bolster. When I felt the tan leather it seemed thinner and more fragile than my leather.

I had my side bolster wear out completely. I kind of crushed it by putting some of my fat ass on it. There was a big indentation in it where you could just feel the frame bar. Honda fixed it for me but they were going to have the upholstery guy pick it up and drive it to and from his shop. I just took the seat out and dropped at the Honda dealer and picked it up that afternoon. Nice job!

This is what mine is doing. There are wear lines that look like scratches ('cause they are, I guess). I use Lexol and it's getting to be too much. Wrinkles I can tolerate, but these seats won't last another 2 years at the rate they are going.
