I've been asked to post this for a new member named Rifflane:

I woke up on Saturday to find my S2000 up on jacks (Honda jacks, actually) in the driveway.

Just remember, what goes around comes around. They'll get theirs.

Thanks for the pic hosting, Pete.

Yeah, the whole experience is really bad. Especially right now, when it's 80 degrees outside and perfect convertible weather. In a couple of months it will be cold and rainy... what a bad time for this to happen...

After I get the car back (and secure the heck out of it) hopefully I can put this behind me and have some fun. I haven't even really experienced what the car can do yet. Ah well.

I'm seeing a lot of these threads... I guess it is a little comforting to know I'm not all alone in this. I'll let you folks know if I have any issues with either the body shop or the insurance company, but it looks like it should be smooth sailing.

*sigh*

How'd they take the seats? I hope not by slashing your top....from your description, it didn't seem like the top was slashed.

The body shop said that they "just got two red seats in, brand new shape." I've got that awful feeling that I'm buying my own seats back.
That sounds very dodgy !!!

I wonder whether the police would be prepared to check out where they got these seats from ??

Sorry, man.

I didn't think about it until after I started the thread!
