aft3rburn,

You should definitely ask for MSRP, but you might have a tough time finding one. I lived in Seattle till just recently (year and a half ago...and I do miss it!)and the general consensus is that most of the dealers in the area are charging above. But, I could be wrong.....if you do find one, get on the list!

I live in Seattle area and bought my car in St. Paul MN and had it trucked here. I suggest you shop the snow belt, convertibles won't be moving to fast this winter.

That's a good point about shopping elsewhere.....you might have alot more leverage in terms of price when you shop in the snow belt during winter. I know Seattle doesn't get too much snow during winter, especially at sea-level....

wow thanks! I'm going to see if I can get into some agreement for MSRP or below (haha). I've heard of people getting into this agreement, and it sounds like they didn't have to have any money down or up to $1000 on it...I dunno, I just can't wait to see these beauties in person again! Man, I wish I had a camera like Greg Stevens or Songs They take AWESOME photos!
I will also have to count how many S2000's I see on the road from here to there I'll be able to count the cars since I'm not driving to Seattle. We're taking my friend's '00 Subaru Limited Legacy GT there, full leather, the works (NICE CAR!) And if "a snowball's chance in H*ll" I do happen to get the S, I'll be driving back in it

Good luck with finding one for MSRP in Seattle. I think the snow-belt option is better. There is a red one on ebay in Indiana that sounds like the would let go for MSRP (that is the reserve).

Good luck.

I'm going to see if I can get into a purchase agreement like some of the people here on this board. If I get the S2000, I'll be happy If I don't, oh well. There's next time hmmm...maybe I'll wait until snow hits the Northwest and visit Spokane in the winter 400 miles from Spokane to Boise, that would almost be the full break-in! You know, when I get home, I'm going to have to give everyone I know a ride in it, so that's an exra 200+ miles! I wonder who the lucky person will be when I get into VTEC land will be?

Don't you guys in Idaho get alot of snow too? And cold? My fiancee lived in Idaho during her teenage years and said that it gets really cold there and snows too.

I live north of Seattle and never found a dealer willing to go MSRP. Ended up taking a train to Minot, ND to pick one up. Had a great time.

yes it gets VERY cold here! Snow...hmmm...yes we get snow, but usually not too bad. I wonder if the snow will be particularly bad this year because I said that... Now the reason why I don't want to pursue the 2 dealerships here is because one charges $10k over MSRP, and the other is about $2K over. I'm willing to drive 500-600 miles one way to get it for MSRP.
