After dropping $32k on a new car I'd be damned if I'd spend 5 cents on a manual that's supposed to come with the car in the first place.
uhm, they bought the car used?

Did you find anything?

I felt the same way too when I read about it here. I bought mine used and I found the head-unit code in there, but alas, no manual.

i can't see how the "secret compartment" is actually a secret???
first thin i do when i get a new "toy" is fvck w/all the buttons!
only thing that was a trick at first was the gas door button... took about 10 mins at the gas station and a bunch of weird faces looking at me, to find it!

I learned of the compartment at s2ki before i got the car. Even after reading most of the manual, i must have overlooked it. So i remembered it after i got annoyed that the manual didn't fit in the first compartment. No one at the dealer knew it existed, along with some other s2k facts which is pretty sad.

i bought mine used and had no idea that compartment was there either, i asked the dealer for a manual and he gave me a 2001 manual for my 2000, then when i was reading s2ki i saw the secret compartment in the library where someone installed the wind deflector....

I bought mine new and was told I had to take it BACK to the dealership because the dealer didnt enter the code for the radio-(I told them not to TOUCH the car once it arrived other than fluids)...luckily, I too learned of the compartment and there was everything I needed...I still felt like a dumbass, though...
