Is it hard to remove the spring spacers yourself? I'm hoping to get a brand-new baby which may be shipped from out of state. I'll want them to keep the spacers in for the shipment and take them out myself when the car arrives. How many are there, 14 or 16?

Mine were left in for the trip home where it quickly went up on jack stands to swap parts...
but when we took the suspension apart, yep, the spacers were still there...

It isn't difficult to remove the spacers in the front springs, because you can turn the wheels to full lock, giving you room to get your arm in there. I'm not sure it's even possible to remove the rears without the car being on a lift. Don't know how many total there are, best to do a visual inspection of each coil spring to make sure they're all gone.

I owned my s2000 for a month, and finally decided to read the owners manual (which for me came in the trunk). As i was reading through it i found out about the "secret compartment", my eyes wided! I ran down to the garage and searched through it. I'm like "This car has so many suprises!"
I did the same....

I just read through my owner's manual again, and unless you are referring to the upper center storage box, I feel like a complete dumbass as to where the "secret" compartment is located. Can anyone show this dumbass a picture, please?
