Im Thinking Of Purchasing This hood and i was wondering if i install an intake such as the k and n fipk that i just got in the mail , will water get into through the hood ? any experiance ? bc from what i have read with the oem hoods this intake kinda sticks to the top of the hood when closed , Thanks for The Info.-Adam

 

The "Seibon" is a CF hood. Which one are your talking about? There are the vented ones and non-vented ones. The ones that are the "Top Secret" type vented hoods, have a vent very near where the FIPK would be and this would present a problem with water getting into the filter.

Correct. It seals with a rubber gasket to the underside of the hood.

 

I AM TALKING ABOUT THE VS 2 CHECK THE WEBSITE SEIBON.COM GO TO HONDA S2000 AND ITS LIKE THE SECOND ONE ON THE LIST .. PLEASE TRY N HELP ME , ANYBODY THAT OWNS ONE. MAYBE I CAN BUILD A DEVICE SO IF IT RAINS I CAN COVER THE HOLE UP.

Get a different intake, that vent is going to be very close to the filter. Go with the Comptech, it'll match the hood.
