Upon opening the first production batch this morning, I discovered that several small pieces of the double-faced tape, which are positioned in key places to hold the top section flat, were missing on all 30 covers.

So, for quality control, I've held them back until a fix is made. That means the first batch will not ship until this weekend, and the rest until next week.

My apologies for the delay, but I'm sure you appreciate our desire to protect quality.

Rick,

I think that we all appreciate the care and attention you have put into these projects.

Rick, I tried to pull off my rear console cover (the perforated one) today in anticipation of getting the new leather console cover. It wouldn't budge. I hope your instructions are comprehensive enough so this layman ( I hire everything done.) can install it.

Ivs2k,

The center plastic console is all ONE piece from the shifter surround to the rear perforated section. Don't try to remove just the perforated section, you will ruin the plastic console cover.

Remember, it is a single unit which will come off in ONE piece!

You're not supposed to touch the perforated piece on the armrest. If you try to take it off, you'll ruin it and my console cover won't fix it. It's not part of what we're doing.

Warning to everybody: Please wait until the cover and instructions arrive before working on this project.
