There was a bit of a shudder then the check engine light came on. As I slowed down and got off the road, the car died.

I'll go with you to the dealer and kick the Service Manager's ass. Hell, I don't have to take mine there

I agree-- mention the TSB. All they can do is say "No."

This thread makes my stomach churn. I'm really sorry you have the problem. I hope AHM helps you cover it. I don't think they are under any obligation to help at all, especially if your engine failure had nothing to do with the spark plug upgrade issue. However, it makes me think the F20C might have very, very poor durability reputation over the long haul.

Not all Hondas have Honda-like reliability. In the long run, this will hurt Honda and American Honda Motors more than anyone else, if they don't step up to the plate to help you.

It's getting retarded. The moderators are going to start merging them.

Default Loose plug = new enging (pics)! Get your recall done ASAP.

Poor owner of a Grand Prix White S2000 is getting an engine swap courtesy of AHM.

See the pics here: http://www.s2000atlanta.com/cgi-bin/pgalle...e_s2k_newengine

Oops, typo in the header, that's engine not enging.

Too bad we can't correct our own threads. We can't even delete our own threads anymore. Seems a little like S2ki treats us like 3 year olds around here.

Ok, Ok I'll go along with this providing you explain to me how I'm going to keep those suckers in the plug holes with no threads to hold them in!

Default Sorry, One more Spark Plug Question

I got my letter from Honda about the plugs.

How quickly or urgent is it that they get changed? I called my dealer, and they have not yet heard of the letter.
