Default shift?

Hi, i am new to s2000's, my first one is gettin delivered to my house in about a week( its used). its a 2000 s2000. 6 speed.

i was just wondering whats the best rpm to shift at for that car?

10k rpms? the cars redline is 9k rpm.

9200rpms from 1st to 4th... because its an AP1

just see for yourself, your the best judge where to shift at..

i belive the owners manual actually tells you the rpm to shift at to get the best gas mileage

Best is to be at 9000 rpms in 3rd and downshift to 2nd. 11k rpms!

9K on the AP1. Fuel Cutout will happen at 9200.

For regular driving I shift at 4-5K regularly, 2-3K when just lugging or when going downhill.
