ohh, ok, and another question, ive been reading soem artlicles and such and i dont kno if the stuff was true or if i read ity wwrong.

but s2000's take regular gas right?

I keep it as close to 2.5k without going under as I can, which means I shift a bit over 3k. That seems to be the sweet spot for level ground gas conservation (I also drive an ap1)

put premium, not regular gas.

and if this is your first rwd car, dont step on gas while turning. the rear will spin out.

have fun with her and dont go crazy vtak... or you SHOULD go crazy on vtak.

use premium (91 or 93 if you have that). don't stick in 87...

Shift as fast as you can without bogging for decent mileage. And anywhere between 2k and 8/9k should be fine. @3K if I'm just driving leisurely.

did you get the manual with your car? it has the shift points for best fuel economy in there. i cant remember off the top of my head but they base it by MPH not rpm.

i think its something like...

1-2 - 15mph
2-3 - 25mph
3-4 - 40mph
4-5 - 48mph
5-6 - 52mph
