got the rick's counter Ti....simply amazing. barely have to flick the wrist, and you're changing gears.....super smooth. never once mis-shifted

Yes, heavier is better especially if you have a shortened throw.

I have tried out any number of knobs on the Ultralite where the shift lever is hacksawed off to about half height and the lighter knobs let you feel ever little detent and it is harder to get them in gear which means a lot more missed shifts out on the track.

So how much is the T1RB max? I have found I like the oval knob better than the round.

werd!!! the heavier the better...i have had 3 different shift knobs...my fav is the oem Ti knob...i like the heavy feel cause the shifter glides through the gears without any notchy feeling.. :-)

Exactly! Heavier is less notchy.

Sure seems backwards. I originally presumed lighter was better cause lighter is better in everything else.

And NEVER get a knob that doesn't screw on!! Those with the set screws inevitably come loose and drive you to distraction just when you don't need it - on the track.
