Shifting To 2nd gear

if you shift slowly(like me), blip the throttle b/w shifitng to rmatch the engine and transmission speed so shifting will be smoother(plus less wear and tear on the clutch, it doesnt have to slip)

So are you saying to:
1. Clutch in
2. Shift out of gear
3. Blip throttle
4. Shift into gear
5. Clutch out
?
If so, I'll have to try that and see if it works.
