need info about kia diff swap

Default need info about kia diff swap

The diff is installed but when we install the s2000 COMPANION FLANGE it is too tight ! Do i us the kia COMPANIOM FLANGE or did i do something wrong installing the diff!

do i use the s2000 pinion bearing or the kisa bearing????

you use the s2000 outer and inner pinion bearing, along with the s2k flange. Also, don't forget to install the spacer between the outer bearing and the flange.

you installed the entire kia diff? is it stronger or did you do this for the gear ratios ?

#12 on the list is what I'm referring to. It's an easy to forget item.

The flange sometimes can be a very tight fit, but as long as the spline count is the same, it should be able to run down as you tighten the nut.

could it be because the washer is not there it goes too far making it hard too turn once its been torque to spec

I would like to try to answer your questions but, I'm not sure I understand any of the questions or issues you have?
I think when you said KIA diff you ment KIA gears? If your unsure of what to use or not use it maybe best for you to seek a professional to do the install.

Bearing styles and taper is not the same so, you need to use the Honda bearings. The imput flange maybe snug because the spline is tapered. If the imput flange will not go on check the spline for damage.
