Should i buy this s2000?

Should i buy this s2000?
I found an s2000 that fit my needs...but there are a few problems..:
1. Sometimes i can hear a tick, tick tick sound in the front right of the car.
2. CEL Light is on...should i get this checked out first?...i might be able to get the car cheaper by 1000-2000 if i just buy it out. Is it worth the risk though? I test drove the car and the engine seems fine.
3. It has 140k miles on it...:/....i am planning to purchase the car for a cheap price...but i mean...aslong as it lasts me 2 years or so...then i wanted to rebuild the engine
...
anyways...my biggest concern is #2..... let me know what you think guys!
