i don't think you should get the S again, since you couldn't stand the harsh ride at 1st.
wait for awhile, go test drive all the roadsters (BMW z4)!!
there are more coupes and roadsters coming out in 2003 & 04. such as 350z (roadster), RX8, Z4....etc.
if you can't wait try BMW Z3 or (98-00) M roadster. I test drove a 98 M roadster, woo...it's good, ride is not harsh, and u can feel the power when u step on the paddle (unlike the S, the tiger comes when Vtech kicks in), and it's quieter. The 99-00 model has traction control but not the 98!!

Anyway, i bought the S b/c i think the S looks better (more aggressive), the 9000 redline and more room for future mods. Also, doing modification on the S is cheaper than BMW.

Find an old pick-up to be your daily driver and get the S2000 this spring to enjoy the nice weather and cherry trees.
