Did a sound test just for kicks. Here in QLD, Australia, your not allowed (legally but no one cares unless its excessively loud - like a V3) over 90DB @ 2500 rpm.

So, I'm on the side of the highway, he tests my car @ 2500 rpm.

I scored a ~130DB, no silencers..... @ 2500 rpm......

The cop must have been messing with you as that dB reading is totally incorrect. I have my own dB meter and measured my invidia with and without a testpipe. At 3k rpms neither of them were over 100dB from about 4 feet away.

I can't see how 10mm (which is nothing) would make a 30dB difference. He was just trying to scare you.

For the record, at full throttle 9k rpms its still not even 120dBs...

I got a V3 a month and a half ago and yes it is LOUD. But i do like it, i think it looks really nice, sounds nice and is made really well. Its fitment is top notch (AP1). I have the invidia TP as well and my butt dyno tells me its faster
