If you have the time to fix it, you have the time to part it out.

Your diff will fetch good money as will your seats. You can sell a few big ticket items for more than you'll get for the entire car as is.

I know you dont want to part out but in the long run, I think you could make more money doing so.....

your engine SHOULD be fine, looking at the pictures. The reason it probably doesnt start anymore is because usually in an accident, the fire fighters will cut the power cable on your battery so as to not allow a electric fire to start.

double check if the engine starts. If it does, you will probably be able to get a couple thou for the engine trans/ maybe 4-500 for the diff, and the couple thou for the interior parts, if you feel like waiting and parting it out yourself.

Big sticker parts that will probably be ok:
1) engine
2) trans
3) differential
4) seats
5) convertible top
6) front windshield
7) center console/glove box
8) roll hoops
9) Dash
10) Gauge cluster
11) rear subframe

these should go for at least $100 to a couple thou (engine/trans only)
Not going to be easy, taking them all out...but if you've a mind to do it, I'd say you can probably make 5K if you do it right.
people pay "big money" for these items...

Dunno:

AP1 Engine if running: $2000
AP1 trans: $800
Diff: $500
Seats: $300
Top: $300
Windshield: probably nothing as high likelihood of cracking when you remove it / ship it and new Safelite windshields are <$300 installed.
Roll hoops: $50 (who would buy / need a replacement one?)
Dash: $100-200
Gauge cluster: $100-200
Rear subframe: it's an AP1 so less coveted (bumpsteer) and a PITA to ship. Maybe $100-200.

If the engine runs, you could probably sell the car for $3000-4000.
If your garage space is worth $100 / month in rental and you'd need to buy $100-500 in tools / hoists / pallets to disassemble...

Maybe worth it if you make <$10 / hour. Probably not worth it if you don't have tools and make more than $50 / hour.

Basically lost a $7000 gamble to not get collision insurance.
But if you would have paid $2000 more per year for insurance before and you "got away with it" for a few years, it's a wash.

Lucky thing no one else was involved in the accident!
For cheaper insurance, consider increasing your deductible.

I have a $2000 deductible and it lowered my rates considerably.

Thanks for all the replies.

Added updated pics:

I took pictures without hood and looked at drivers side wheel well more closely. It looks like the frame was only damaged from the shock towers going forward. There are some dents in the wheel well frame but I think its only cosmetic. Also, looks like both lights are salvageable. Therefore I'm estimating fixing will cost < $5K (2 fenders, front bumper, front frame, and wheel knuckle). Seems like fixing is an option especially if I take my time and buy all used parts.

I'm definetely never going to drive without collision insurance again!

The headlights probably have broken tabs. Sometimes they can be glued back, but they'll probably need to be replaced.
