Don't sweat it. This guy had tires just like yours and he's fine. Nothing a few weeks out of work and a little buffing compound couldn't take care of.

holy..... how did a S2K end up like that? I thought they are usually hold up pretty good....................

Something about hitting a tree sideways at 80+MPH would do it (according to the thread the pic was from).

You are insane if you don't change your tires immediately.

If I were you, I would never be driving on S02s in Michigan in December, no matter what condition they were in. Given that they are worn, I think you're crazy to let it go this far. Buy some S03s or some other tire that can handle wet/cold conditions better. If you're planning to drive in snow without snow tires, then you better buy a life insurance policy too.

Driver's seat too, if they can get the stain out of it. (I'm evil)

Disclaimer:
I honestly cannot find any humor in the accident and my smartass comments are just meant to distract myself from my own fears of wrecking my car.

Hey ... ProV1

What is with you ?

Are you dense or just jerking everyone around?

You have been posting questions about all-season radials and winter tires and driving your "S" in Ann Arbor Winters for two months now.

Many people including myself have taken time and effort to give you detailed advice regarding your options ...

If you insist on driving on those tires at this time of year in those conditions you don't deserve this car and will soon be parted from it.

Quit wasting our time ...

Sounds like your Mom knows a thing or two. Hope you are smart enough to heed her advice.

Jokes on me ... couldn't believe it when I read your post. Figured you for a total retard !!

What did you end up getting for winter tires?

Or did you decide to store it for the season?

Go Blue ...
